Signed Framed V For Vendetta Movie Poster Natalie Portman Hugo Weaving John Hurt.
This is one of my most prized possessions, and now it can be yours.
This is an absolutely authentic and truly incredible one of a kind framed piece of signed art with a certificate of authenticity.
It is a 20" x 13 1/2" DVD release poster for the motion picture, V For Vendetta, signed by the cast.
It has been lovingly cared for since purchasing new, locked up inside a tube in a dark place until recently.
I have framed this poster so that it can be enjoyed everyday.
Some time after acquiring the poster, I came across the 8x10 photo that was part of the same press release so I thought they would look awesome framed together, and they most certainly do.
They have been matted together in a unique and utterly fantastic fashion.
All materials used within the frame are all acid free and the poster was t-hinged to the backer board using preservation methods, specifically gummed tape was used to affix the poster and the photo to the acid free backer board.
Since gummed tapes were used, if you so desire to do a different framing job than I have, you most certainly can, with zero degradation of the original works.
The artwork has been slightly cropped within the frame to accommodate the matting as has the photo, so there is a bit more to the poster and photo in behind the matting.
The paper on the poster isn't 100% perfect, there are some ever so slight creases from being rolled but behind the ultraviolet plexi that it is now, triple matted with acid free mat board, you really can't see any of that, you really have to be looking for them.
I have enclosed photos of the actual matting process so that you can in fact see gummed tapes on the poster and the photo, and linen tapes used to hinge the matting.
This is a truly gorgeous one of a kind matted framed archival V For Vendetta poster, sure to give you years of viewing pleasure.
The four signatures included are Hugo Weaving who writes, "Violence Can Be Used For Good", "V",
Natalie Portman who drew a heart, and we also have the absolutely brilliant late great John Hurt, and also Stephen Rea written in silver pen/marker.
The certificate of authenticity has been inserted into an acid free bag and taped to the back of the frame as you can see.
All hanging materials are attached to the frame.
This artwork is ready to hang.
The whole piece measures approximately 26" x 30"
The frame is wooden and looks really nice in black.
The acid free mat board is actually a cream colored white, it looks really beautiful with these two pieces.
This piece will be re-affixed to and shipped in the very same box that the frame came in, so it should be quite safe for transit to you.
